Hold The World Together
The guide
Every number here is read out of the game’s own data when the guide is built, so it says what the build does.

What this is
The Unfinish'd is a tower defence game about a world that was never finished. Each level is a page of it: a floating island of written ground with a World…
How a page works
The ground
Every tile walks through the same five states. Decay eats at the page on a timer, faster beside the tear and beside ground that has already gone.
Cut The Thread
You can unmake your own ground. Cutting a tile turns it to Void and drops everything standing on it into the Unfinish'd - which is a kill, and worth more…
What you can build
Selling gives back half. A structure on fraying ground goes down with the ground. The Stitcher and the Bodkin are the same twenty damage a second, and…
The Unwritten
Later waves scale health: by the tenth wave of a page everything arrives with half again as much. A Bulk resists most of a shove - it takes two Pushers to…
World events
From the fourth wave on, the page itself starts interfering. Each page carries its own small deck of these, and from the ninth wave two can run at once.
Edits
Stars pay Fragments, and Fragments unlock Edits: permanent rewrites to one of your tools. You carry three into a page, one per category, and some of them…
The pages
Twelve pages: nine of the story, and three that ask something else of you. Where the world was first written.
What the game remembers
Every page keeps its own bests, and the campaign keeps a few numbers of its own. These are the numbers worth competing over.
Controls
A phone held upright is asked to turn: the page is wider than it is tall.
